Compared with D tooling, tooling B has a slender body and a smaller punch and punch. The small punch has a limit on the pressure of the punch. The tablets and pills that require high hardness cannot be completed with the B tooling, and the small punch directly determines the size (diameter) of the tablet. Therefore, B tooling is more suitable for making small pills.

The D tool is short and fat in terms of its configuration. The large punch and the large punch allow high-pressure engagement, so that the balls are sufficiently hard and strong. The big punch and big head flat leave more space for the material, so it can be made into big pills with a large diameter (20mm). Compared with the B-die, the D-die and punch usually have a larger punch tip diameter, which makes the D-die very suitable for compressing large-size tablets.
